Aisha Irshad is a student of our CARE Adopted City District Government Girls High School, Qila Lachman Singh Lahore. She has been a very active student of CARE’s Access to English Language Program and has participated in many debating competitions. This time however, Aisha has made us proud by winning a recently held national level contest. She stood first in the Declamation contest organized by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of Pakistan titled, ‘Corruption’. The event was held at the Lahore Arts Council, Alhamra where students from countless educational institutes, belonging to various age brackets participated. Our talented 10th grader was able to beat them all to first place. Aisha, the youngest among six siblings, made her family immensely proud by winning Rs. 100,000 as cash prize for the first position. CARE hopes to see many more similar examples in future where our students continue to break all barriers in their quest for excellence. Congratulations Aisha, we wish all the more success your way!
